Well for those of you who don't really know me, let me give you a brief intro...

I grew up in southern California until I was 15, when my family moved to Seattle, Washington. My mom always made sure that we attended church and really enjoyed being part of different church activities and programs. So I gave my life to Christ when I was really young, and for the most part have followed Christ ever since then. When I was in high school I went on my first short term mission trip. It was during one of those early mission trips when I was in Los Angeles that I clearly heard God speak to me for the first time, He told me that I would not be going to college but that I would be going on the mission field.

So that is what I did. After high school I joined YWAMPursuitsNZ (Youth With A Mission) in New Zealand. I did a DTS (Discipleship Training School) and then staid on staff for the next school. I went home for a few months before returning back to New Zealand for a two year commitment. While there my whole life was totally tipped upside down, I was shaken and stirred. I became a different person. The last two schools I lead, taking the head roll in front of the school (4-32 students and up to 12 staff). I learned so much and had a great time working with them! During the DTSs I was able to travel to China, Singapore, South Africa, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, and Fiji.

After another short trip at home I joined the World Race. A crazy group made of 23 Americans and South Africans travelling for 11 months. We were able to do 'ministry'and see what God is doing all over the world. Here's a list of countries that we were in: Mexico, Guatemala, USA, Hong Kong, China (& the Tibetan Plato), Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Bosnia i Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa. You can check out my old blog or see what the current teams are doing :)

After all those great adventures I just couldn't stop... I spent six months in Swaziland working under Gary and Lisa Black. My main objective was to be Gary's personal assistant. My time was spent working in the main AIM office in Manzini, getting things ready for the Nsoko Project under G42 & AIM (a orphan village / community center in one of the poorest regions of Swaziland), starting up Breathe Africa (an online business that sells items from Africa to help fund our work there), and sitting in the dirt with orphans.

Although I had a good time in Swazi, the Lord called me back to the States the end of 2007. I am currently working in the AIM head office in Gainesville, GA, doing set up and training for the World Race. Being able to help keep things running smoothly, pour into the missionaries that we are sending out, and continuing to make this ministry even more amazing makes this job a lot of fun (not to mention that I am surrounded by some of my favorite World Race friends). Even though I am still in the States I am still considered a ‘missionary' and am reliant upon the support of others. But because I am based out of Georgia it also means that I am easier to get in contact with :) It's a new season in this great Race and I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do in and through me.
