I am supposed to be sitting at my grandparent's house in Texas right now. Chatting with them, sharing stories, and just spending time with them. I've been trying to find the right weekend for over a month, and this one was free for all of us... and then I got a cold. You see I was going to go and visit my grandma who has cancer. And the risk of me getting her sick far out ways the $275 I paid for the plane ticket, and the $75 I had to pay to cancel my ticket.

But to be honest it sucks! I never get sick!!! It just doesn't happen. So the one time this year that I come down with a cold is right when I am have planned to take a few days off of work in Georgia and visit my grandparents. Really?!? There is no logical reason I should be sick, no one else around me is sick. God are you trying to say something? Satan are you trying to hinder something?... I don't know. All I do know is that I just wasted a lot of money to spend the weekend in Gainesville, Ga.

(Don't get me wrong, there are some bonuses to being here... I'll get to go to my church on Sunday. And get to celebrate Jimmy's birthday on Monday. And it is always fun to spend time with friends... it's just not what I planned and I could have thought of a million other things to spend my money on! Arg!)
