Closing Up Camps

It’s the end of a very busy summer. I’m currently sitting in my apartment, with only a small group of people to cook for a couple of days next week. Then my contract, working for AIM here in GA for Training is up.

I’m not sure what I expected when I agreed to come out to Georgia and help with cooking and doing some logistics for training camps… one thing is for sure, I underestimated how much work it was going to be! There were multiple times I was ready to quit and go ‘home’. But I had made a commitment; my friends and coworkers were counting on me.

There are several blogs running through my head, I just haven’t been able to get them on paper quite yet. One of my roommates even challenged me to talk about some of the stuff I used to teach and have been mentored in, so I may begin to revisit some of those topics in the future.

As I work on getting my words out, figuring out what I’ll be doing this fall, and recouping from a full summer… I hope you enjoy the few pictures I took at one of the training camps this summer.
