well this is it. my last blog from the states for awhile. so much has happened in the last month… it has flown by!! i can’t believe that i have to get up a few short hours and head to the airport for the long journey to south africa. (i’ll stay the night at alabanza, our base just outside of johannesburg, and then leave for swaziland the next day.)
i really feel like i am stepping out in faith… not because i am unsure of whether i am to be there, but because i really have no idea what to expect! i’ve never been on staff with a USA based organization so all the little steps and details are totally new to me. it’s very different! plus with having my contact man in swaziland has made things a little more difficult. so although it’s not that practicle in terms of support raising, being in swaziland will be great in terms of getting all the details finally sorted out.
please keep me in your prayers the next couple of days as i travel and get settled into my new home. as well as keep praying for my monthly support to be pledged / come in. also keep the world racers in your prayers as we have both the january teams and the june teams all travelling to swaziland in a couple of weeks for training.
until i get to africa!,
casey
