after a long adventure of a trip to south africa i made it with no problems! yea! what an answer to prayer! … the only thing is i sat at the airport for a couple of hours, due to mix ups with my ride to alabanza. but i finally made it! i even made it in time to stay for the women’s camp that was going to be held for the weekend. it was a wonderful time of being together with women from all different backgrounds and cultures. god definetly moved wonderfully!!! it was just what i needed before starting my new life in africa.

i am now in swaziland! it is so wonderful to be here!! i am staying in a mansion of a house!!!! there are 83 beds in there right now! it’s insaine. but we have a bunch of teams coming through so we need somewhere to put them all. i am actually living and working with a team from a college in the states. it has been wonderful to work along side them as they experience missions and africa for the first time. i will write more about what is going on and try to get some pictures up soon.

i just wanted to let you all know that i made it and that things are going well. i will spend the next month working with teams – serving, debriefing, and training them. please continue to pray as i adjust to living here in swazi. plus i will be working on getting my work visa in a month or so, please begin to pray for that even now. as well as my finances, that i may be blessed so that i can bless those around me 🙂

much love from africa!,

  2. YEAH! Casey…I am so proud of you and happy that you are living the life in Africa that you’ve always dreamed! I love and miss you dearly and look forward to hearing all the great stories! We are praying for you here back in the USA.

  3. Hello Casey!

We are so glad to hear you made it safely, and with no hiccups, praise the Lord!! Maybe you could start teaching some phrases through your updates?? We have a lot to learn from you. Kia Kaha! May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly!

    Much love.

  4. AGH! I found you! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to… glad I did. I’ve been scanning these blogs tonight missing Africa is setting in (coupled with jet lag, it’s not a great combination). It’s hard and good, to know you and the other friends I made there are still there…

I’m about to drop and can’t write long, but I just wanted you to know I’m SO glad I met you. You blessed me so much- God knew I needed you, not just my team, and blessed me by putting me with you for the first half of my trip! I definitely want to stay in touch, so expect contact from me later (when I get caught up on everything I left behind… *sigh*), but for now, please give everyone there my love and let them know prayers are being sent up for all my brothers and sisters in Swaziland! Oh, and by the way… still haven’t taken any meds!! Please let the Racers and Seth know and thank them for their prayers! Our God is so amazing… He is a God of HEALING thanks for helping to increase my faith- you played a big role!

Blessings to you Sister please stay in touch!
